Obtaining Permits for Soil Sand Gravel

 Documents required to obtain a license

1. Required mineral type.
2. Mineral content
3. Land / River required to obtain minerals.
4. Copies of deeds / plans of the land and proof of ownership
5. Certificate to prove the need for sand / soil / gravel (example: a copy of the approved plan of the land when laying the foundation of a house)
6. The Grama Niladhari should provide a detailed environmental report on the place where the minerals are obtained and stored.
7. Other documents prescribed by the Divisional Secretary (example: when obtaining soil from a project, a letter confirming the acquisition of soil should be submitted)

All these documents should be certified by the Grama Niladhari and submitted along with the application.

Obtaining Jackfruit / Breadfruit / Female Palmyrah Licensing License 

Documents required to obtain a license

1. Letter of request
2. Deed of the land (Certified by the Grama Niladhari)
3. Recommendation of the Grama Niladhari
4. Copy of the decision of the court (certified by the Grama Niladhari)
5. Copies of letters confirming development work 
6. If the timber required for the house belongs to the construction plan / a copy of the plan approved by the relevant local authority (certified by the Grama Niladhari) to repair the existing house, the list of timber obtained from a carpenter for that purpose Must be certified by the Officer)
7. If the trees belong to the construction plan, mark them on the relevant building plan
8. Agriculture Consultant Report (Obtained by this office) if it belongs to the causes of death due to natural causes / future / non-productive disease
9. If the request to cut down trees is due to a family disaster situation, acceptable documents confirming that disaster situation.
10. If there are partners, their written consent (certified by the Grama Niladhari) If the partner has died, a copy of his / her death certificate with the written consent of his / her spouse and all children should be submitted with the Grama Niladhari's certificate.
11. In cases where only the branches can be removed and the danger is eliminated, the branches should be applied only for pruning
12. Deed sheets (within 03 months)
